Happy Birthday

One year ago today, Haute Green Tea was born. And I am so thankful for what has come about within the last year.

I found my love for writing at an early age. English and Reading always being my favorite subjects.

I always knew that I would be in a creative field, but HGT is more than just a blog. It’s a home for the muses.

I started HGT because, well, that’s what a journalism major should do, right?—start a blog?

But within the first six months I realized that this is so much more than me—so I opened the home to new artists.

The feeling that I felt when I bought the domain and published my first post is one that I will never forget. It’s the same feeling that I feel after publishing each post and I wanted to share that feeling with others. If you are incapable of purchasing your own domain, or simply looking to get a few words of your chest, HGT is open to you.

In the past year, I’ve gained support for this blog across the globe. Not only have we reached nearly all 50 states in the United States; but also Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, China, Germany, India, South Africa, and several more.

About three months ago, I was able to open an affiliate brand—Freeform Femme Fashion (for which the next launch will be very soon).

I foresee so much for Haute Green Tea within the next year— and I welcome you all to continue to join me on this journey.

To new beginnings,

-TLW
